Shift Lever
A shift lever refers to a transmission operating device. Recently, an electronic shifting system based on SBW (Shift By Wire) technology, which controls the transmission through electrical signals, is mainly used. For example, the Genesis G80 and Kia K8 adopt a dial-type shifting system to freely design the center console and create a sense of luxury. Also, in the case of Hyundai's Palisade and Grandeur, the transmission can be controlled only by pressing a button. Some vehicles maximize operation convenience and space efficiency by attaching a control device to the steering column. The Hyundai IONIQ 5 is a prime example. As such, automakers are designing their own brand shift levers because they can freely design the SBW.
