MANILA/SEOUL, July 10, 2026 – Hyundai Motor Company and the ASEAN National Organizing Council (NOC) today signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to provide official security vehicles for the 2026 ASEAN Summit in the Philippines.
Scheduled in November 2026, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), the summit will bring together regional leaders to address critical issues shaping the future of ASEAN and its partnerships.
Under the agreement, Hyundai Motor, through its Philippine subsidiary Hyundai Motor Philippines, will provide a fleet of 50 Hyundai SANTA FE SUVs for the Heads of State from ASEAN member states and partner countries attending the summit.
The signing ceremony was attended by representatives from Hyundai Motor Group, Hyundai Motor Philippines and the ASEAN National Organizing Council, including Dong Jo Kim, Senior Vice President and Head of the Global Policy Office at Hyundai Motor Group; Jiho Son, President of Hyundai Motor Philippines; Cecil Capacete, Managing Director of Hyundai Motor Philippines; Undersecretary Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega, Director General of the ASEAN National Organizing Council; Major General Potenciano Camba (Ret.), Head of Operations of the ASEAN National Organizing Council; and South Korean Ambassador to the Philippines Lee Sang-Hwa.
